Sport Horse Clinic May 13 in Hamilton

SPORT HORSE CLINIC Saturday, May 13 following the last class (approx. time 6:00 p.m.)at the AHAEC Youth/Amateur Show
Blacks Equestrian Centre, Hamilton Ontario
Conducted by Janet Henderson, Elaine Ward and a Hunter judge (TBA).
Participants are encouraged to bring their horses, as they will be critiqued in their handling and riding in the in-hand and under saddle class, after the demonstrations.
IABS Amateur in-hand classes, and under-saddle classes will be held the following day, judged by Allan Ehrlick.

Milestone Entries Due Soon For May 6/7

Last week the AHAEC Omnibus came out with all the prize lists for the shows. Every year, it's a bit of a crunch receiving the omnibus, and getting entries out for the first show, which happens to be our first dressage show.
There seems to have been a "techincal" problem in getting the omnibus intact to some members. If so, please contact Jill Barton at jill.barton@sympatico.ca, so she can send you the entire show season.

The Rivendell Dressage Trophy

The Rivendell Dressage Trophy was first awarded back in 1989. Kindly donated by Janet and David Henderson of Rivendell Arabians, it is given to the horse and rider with the 3 highest scores from an EC sanctioned dressage show. To qualify you must also enter an "all Arabian" dressage competition. You can mix and match your 3 highest scores from any level of competition, as long as it is an EC Dressage test, and from shows in Region 18.

Tulip Arabian Horse Show Dressage/Sport Horse

Just a note to remind members that the OVAHA Tulip Arabian Horse Show in Kemptville, On. will be offering Dressage and Sport Horse classes on FRIDAY June 9th. Please click on the above link for further information.
