2007 is going to be a busy year for dressage people! We've got the Sport Horse Nationals again in Virginia, along with our Region 18 show dates with dressage classes.

May 5: Milestone Dressage/Sport Horse

May 12-13: Youth Ami Show at Blacks with Sport Horse

June 2/3: Eastern Canadian Breeder Championships and Zone 9 with Sport Horse and Dressage

June 8/9: Tulip Arabian Show

June 15-17: Summer Sizzler with Sport Horse

July1: Pickering All Arabian with Sport Horse

July 7: Milestone Dressage/Sport Horse

July 27-29: Region 18 Championships with Sport Horse and Dressage

Aug: Canadian National Championships, Regina, SK

Sept: Sport Horse Nationals in Virginia.

Open Dressage Shows will be listed when I receive them.

This morning member Darlene Sharp sent these great pic to me of Diablo and this message:

We did do a little dressage at Les Wagshal's back years ago but nothing but trail and western for at least 5 years, and I thought it would be fun to give it another try in July 2006. Diablo is game for pretty much anything, he regularly goes against Congress winning quarter horses and beats them alot of the time, he's a true ambassador for the arabs because he is out there showing people that arabs are steady intelligent and above all they look good doing it!! Diablo is a 7/8 arab with a tiny bit of quarter horse thrown in, his dam is 26 years old and still sound except for slight arthritis , Diablo is the only bay she produced and of course the most special.
I really appreciate you doing this, Dabby is a very special horse to me

The judge for Region 18's dressage championships is Peta Christen. She will also be judging the first Arabian Dressage Show at Milestone the first weekend in May. Don Barnes is judging the second show there in July (the first weekend).
There will be NO last chance show for dressage at the Regionals. So if you have to qualify, please do so before at either an EC Show or the Dressage Shows in the Arabian Circuit.

ESP Two Moon Junction +// and Laren Bailey won the Ontario Junior Dressage Award for the Canadian Sport Horse Association

KF Almaz+// again won the Rivendell Dressage Trophy from AHAEC for the third consecutive year for 2006.
